Project statement
Nature enters the machine as evidence and returns as an unstable new ecology.
Each work begins with photographs of the natural world and related digital studies of texture, color, and form. These materials are interpreted through generative systems directed to produce images as though nature were learning to imitate human artistic intention.
The series treats artificial intelligence not as nature's opposite, but as a human-made ecological force: a system trained on cultural representations of the world and then directed back toward the world it knows only indirectly.
